Digital Scrapbooking Layout by Pireps
For this week's edition of the Scrap Girls Gallery "snatch and grab" digital scrapbooking layout blogging fun, I went into a private galleries that I am not "supposed" to be peeking around in. (But hey... I'm a major Admin on the site and so I can see the private galleries so I can do that!)
Anyway, this particular gallery is associated with one of our Online Classes called, "A Month of Memories." From what I can tell, the class members are having a great time and lots of digital scrapbooking layouts are flying about.
The teacher is sending out daily assignments for them to create a layout about some particular theme. It looks like fun.
I found this layout by Pireps associated with an assignment about being on a journey - or your life's journey... (I don't know for sure since I am not taking the class. I wish I had, though.) Obviously, they were assigned to look at something in their life that they don't normally scrapbook and this neat layout came out from Pireps.
The journaling reads: Every morning we embark on a journey through the German countryside and its charming villages. This time of year the fields are green and the bright red flowers bloom from baskets framing the windows of nearly every home in the area. It's a lovely ride until you crack opn the window for some fresh air and everyone is assaulted by the putrid smell of cow poop used to fertilize these verdant fields. Then shouts of "Poopy!" and "I'm gonna throw up!" can be heard above the din of Alive and the Chimpmunks singing "Funky Tow". And so beings the journey of another day at GK."
Here's what she used in her layout:
So Pireps... because I spotlighted you in my blog, we're going to send you a surprise!
